Prior to becoming an attorney, David Small had an accomplished 20-year career as a Navy SEAL, serving on the west coast. He deployed numerous times to various countries around the world, including Afghanistan and Iraq. David was selected and served as an instructor at the Navy’s Basic Underwater Demolition School (BUD/S). He earned several awards including three Bronze Stars with Combat V for valor, a Navy Commendation medal and two Navy Achievement medals.
While on active duty, David earned his Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Business Administration from National University in San Diego, CA. After leaving the Navy, David wanted to continue to serve people, so he earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Connecticut.
After earning his law license in Connecticut and practicing civil litigation for a local firm, David earned his license in Texas and moved his family to the Fort Worth area to set up his legal practice.
He enjoys outdoor activities such as biking and hiking; volunteering with local veteran organizations, and spending time with his family and his dog rescued from the mountains of Afghanistan.
